About
Footrests are a way to shift postures or provide support for the feet if the chair cannot be lowered. Start by raising the overall height of the chair a few inches, and then tilt the seat pan forward. Then, sit in the chair and make small height adjustments until your thighs are parallel to the ground. Stand in front of the chair and adjust the height until the top of the seat pan is at the height of the bottom of your kneecap. Afterwards, look at things like the height of the desk, keyboard, etc.
A 2022 analysis published in the journal Nutrition and Health found that high-protein and low-carb diets decreased testosterone by 37 percent. "Eating a diet with high saturated fats and processed sugars can lead to caloric excess and weight gain that can lower testosterone." "I typically recommend my patients stick with a healthy, balanced diet avoiding saturated fats and processed sugars," Dr. Patel says. Autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, are also linked with testosterone deficiency. This might include Kallmann’s syndrome, which is a brain development abnormality, or a pituitary disorder that might interfere with normal testosterone production, according to the Mayo Clinic.

If office phone use is frequent or sustained, a headset might be an option.
An EHS Occupational Safety Professional will provide an ergonomic assessment based on pictures of your workstation. At home this can be accomplished by adding height to your work surface to raise the keyboard and mouse. Adding a phone holder to your monitor screen can minimize these motions and reduce neck pain. The phone is another area of possible ergonomics stress.
